BC Food Prices to go up 34%; We will need the Peace valley for food

The three year California drought will likely cause farm market produce to increase in BC by up to 34% this year. The drought is forecast to continue over a decade or more. BC needs to preserve its own land (which is only 5% of BC) to supply its own population. The Peace valley could feed one million people or about a quarter of the province, if it is not flooded to produce power for Site C dam. BC wants to be a major energy producer. Food is also an energy source, the only one that people cans use and need individually. Once the power is in the grid, it can be used for anything, even powering one LNG plant. To see more click here.
